Summer's here and our Eton renovation is now complete. Come and enjoy our beautiful conservatory restaurant and courtyard garden, both ideal for the warm weather. Our new-look private dining room is proving to be extremely popular at this time of year with sporting events parties enjoying watching the World Cup, racing, cricket and tennis on it's state-of-the art 42" HD TV. Pheasants Ridge Bacchus Dry 2009 is back on our wine list in both restaurants. After two difficult years 2009 turned out to be a very good year indeed, so we are delighted to have this wine from our own vineyard back in time for the summer. Absolutely delicious, the wine is probably best described as England's answer to Sancerre... the vines, grown on a chalky South West facing slope produce refreshingly dry fruit flavours but with a distinctly English elderflower and hedgerow twist... a simply perfect summer tipple.
Amersham continues to go from strength to strength with our wonderful seasonal menus and scrummy afternoon teas – a great national treasure – TEA AS IT USED TO BE. The restaurant has been bolstered by recent glowing reviews from Harden's and Michelin Great Britain & Ireland, both of which you can view on our website.
