Pheasants Ridge Vineyard is situated in the heart of the Hambleden Valley between Henley-on-Thames and Marlow in the county of Buckinghamshire. This beautiful vineyard is lovingly tended by Michael & Lin Gilbey and local (unpaid!) volunteers. It is ideally situated to produce grapes of the highest quality. Once harvested, the grapes then undergo a long, cool fermentation to maximise their hugely refreshing and uniquely English fruit flavours. All profits from this 1.6 acre vineyard go to our local Hambleden Church and associated charities. June 2011: current profits, since 2004, (excluding investment in future vintages), are £30,000 of which £22,000 has been given away to date. We should acknowledge the much-valued help of Vince Gower, our winemaker and Stephen Skelton MW, our vineyard consultant - two of the best in the business!
