Situated in the beautiful 17th Century former grammar school building in the heart of the historic Chiltern's market town, Gilbey's Old Amersham is open every day, for lunch and dinner, as well as our recently introduced afternoon tea and grazing menu. Having successfully created the first Gilbey's in Eton in 1975, we acquired what was then the celebrated old tea shop (The Willow Tree) in 1989. After extensive alterations on the history-steeped listed building, Gilbey's was established, boasting a stylish yet intimate restaurant, a stunning first-floor private dining room and an attractive garden.
